Chasm Chaos MTB Race
Part of the New York State Mountain Biking Race Series (https://www.nysmtbseries.com/)
- Cat 3 – 6 miles (1 loop) – 9:00 AM
- Cat 2 – 12 miles (2 loops) – 10:00 AM
- Cat 1/ Pro – 18 miles (3 loops) – 11:30 AM
- Kids races – 0.5, 1, or 2 miles – 3:00 PM – sign up day off – $5
Registration will be on https://www.bikereg.com/nysmtb-ausable ($35).
The first 71 to register will receive a T-shirt, and the first 90 people to register will receive a drawstring bag.
- Cat 3 – 6 miles (1 loop)
- Cat 2 – 12 miles (2 loops)
- Cat 1/ Pro – 18 miles (3 loops)
- Kids races – 0.5, 1, or 2 miles
Parking – large paved lot off of Mace Chasm Rd (additional parking in the grass field across the street.) -See picture below
Race Headquarters – Pavilion across from the campground office on Ausable Hotel Rd
Registration – Opens at 7:30 AM at the pavilion
Bathrooms – at the Pavilion
Race start – In the field by Route 9 – Please follow signs from the Gazebo to the start – do not ride through the campground.
Awards – After the completion of each event at the pavilion
- Cat 3 ~ 10:30 AM
- Cat 2 ~ Noon
- Cat 1 ~ 2:00 PM
- Raffle – 2:00 PM (Must be present to win)
Camping – On course camping (tent, R.V., and cabins) is available at the Ausable Chasm Campground
